Export while you do something else

Signed-in users can now send an export to the cloud instead of running it on their device. Close the tab, queue several exports, and return later to download the finished videos. Cloud exports use automation minutes.

Translate your captions

Create, edit, and preview caption versions in different languages. Translations are available across all cloud plans. Exporting a video while a translated version is active requires Pro.

Edit several scenes or words together

Select multiple scenes or words from the transcript and change them in one step. Apply the same style, update tags across several words, or move a group of scenes to another caption look.

Better font control across alphabets

Tscaps now detects the alphabets in your captions. The font field shows the most-used one first, then lets you choose fonts for each of the others.

Built-in fonts already covered Latin, Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, Cyrillic, Greek, and Devanagari. They now also cover Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Thai. For other alphabets, tscaps uses a compatible font from your operating system when one is available.

Two new templates

Both are in the Modern category. They do not rely on AI, so you can use them wherever you edit in tscaps.
