Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of tscaps. By creating an account or using the product you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use tscaps.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide an email address you actually own and to keep it current.

Acceptable use

tscaps is a tool for editing your own video content. You agree not to use it to:

• Process content you do not have the right to use (copyrighted material without permission, content depicting people who have not consented, etc.).
• Produce content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours, including content that exploits minors, incites violence, or constitutes harassment.
• Attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer our private code, or abuse rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice if the violation is serious or repeated.

Subscriptions and refunds

• Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Polar, our billing provider. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will work with Polar to resolve it.
• Polar acts as Merchant of Record for transactions, meaning Polar collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT on our behalf.

Your content, our product

You retain all rights to the videos, transcripts, and projects you create. We claim no ownership over your content. We process it only as necessary to provide the service. The tscaps software, brand, and templates we ship remain our property.

Service availability and warranty

We aim to keep tscaps available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" without warranties of any kind. Software has bugs; features may change. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of tscaps. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You can stop using tscaps and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for serious or repeated violations of these terms. On termination, your paid time already used is not refundable except as described in the Subscriptions section above.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use tscaps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
